SCORING
Only 1st, 2nd and 3rd place earn points. The event tier determines how many points each placing is worth.

Adding points. Every counted top-three result adds to an athlete’s total within the same division and discipline. The highest total ranks first; equal totals are listed alphabetically. There is no minimum starter-count requirement. When fewer than three finishers are recorded, only the confirmed placings earn points.
Divisions and disciplines. Men and Women have separate rankings for Speed, Freestyle and Skill, with Men displayed first. Style and Freestyle are one discipline and their points combine under Freestyle. Adult Women’s results labelled Women 17–34 are grouped under Women, with the original labels retained in the results record. Open results are not automatically assigned to Men: the division must be checked before those results can count. Youth and Masters podiums are not merged into the adult rankings.
What counts. Results need a documented source, an assigned tier and editorial approval before they are published for counting. Only approved, published results contribute points. Local qualifiers are excluded; approved regional championships count as Tier 3.
Leaderboard displays. The homepage shows the top 5 and this page shows the top 25 in each division and discipline. All competitors remain searchable in the athlete directory, with their full results, points and ranking on their individual profiles.
Ties. Athletes share the points for the places they occupy. At Tier 1, two tied first-place athletes earn 1,275 each; two tied third-place athletes earn 375 each. Places below third contribute zero to the split.
Team results. At the 2011 Kuwait Art of Motion team video event, every team member receives the full points for their team’s placing.
Season. This table includes 2016 results only. Choose another year to explore previous seasons. The homepage shows the current season. No previous-year bonus or carry-over points are applied.
